This is probably every teen’s dream, but this teen found out the hard way that it comes with some major consequences!
A deputy in Florida had his patrol car stolen, along with his uniform and police equipment. Imagine his surprise when he realized it was his nephew who had jacked him!
Isael Ibrain Lima, 18, was arrested and charged with impersonating an officer, motor vehicle grand theft auto and several other charges.
Evidently, Lima’s uncle was out of town, so he broke into his house, stole the items and car, and went out on patrol! He even pulled over a driver and reported a disturbance at a convenience store and asked for assistance.
Did he not think that might give him away?!
Lima’s uncle eventually returned home and reported that his house had been broken into and his patrol car had been stolen. In an unfortunate turn of events, the sergeant who took the report from the uncle also responded to Lima’s call for assistance at the convenience store, and quickly figured out what was going on.
Lima was immediately arrested and is currently being jailed on a no bail bond hold.
